Rake Structure When playing a poker game such as a Ranger game, players will win chips from each other and then the House takes a small percentage of that and that is called a rate. The mountain house takes further rate depends on how much is being backed. It also depends on what the betting structure is. Please note ever find money games or free games there will not be a rate charged. There are generally basic rake structures that each site follows. You can be sure that the rake percentage will never go over 5%. There is a cat on the head's up rake and that is equal to one dollar. There will be no rake that is taken from the pot if there is no flop in the game. There is a fixed limit rake, which can be no more than $.50. Now on a pot were no limit rake, the maximum rate would be$1.50 for three or more players. As a standard rule the maximum rate rules will apply to all game types if there is no other rules stated. Two players would have a one dollar max rake. Three to four players and have a two dollar max rake in five or more players would have a three dollar max rake. You can always check with the dealer or click on the rules of the particular table that your at, to see exactly what the rake structure is. Every table will have it posted in some manner as to what the fee would be. |
