Short Handed Play You'll find that many of the tournaments that you play online will be sit-and-go's. These types of games are generally nine handed games that start when nine players have signed up to play. Usually when you're playing these types of games they that being short handed. When you play short handed need to play aggressively. This is something you've probably seen in other games before where the person sitting next to you start to raising like crazy and the table is down to just three or four players. You're thinking this guy has completely lost it and has thrown caution to the winds when he actually turns out to win the pot with a bad hand. This trick is called aggression. Every poker player should learn at some point, to play a solid aggressive game. Sometimes it's just not enough to sit back and wait for the good cards to come to you. You need to learn when to bluff and when not to and this can especially be good in shorthanded play. Now this can make some people uncomfortable but once you learned this trick you'll find it very useful at these short handed plays. They can make things rather fun and exciting. If you're unsure of how to test this aggression out, you can try to sit out for a few games and just watch what happens when a short handed play comes around.
